Welcome art travelers! We are headed on a creative adventure around the world where we will explore new environments and create eco-friendly art projects. Our journey will take us to the ocean, the rainforest, the arctic and more! We will explore the work of inspiring artists like Romare Bearden, Henri Matisse, Katsushika Hokusai, and Ted Harrison. We’ll create projects that test your imagination with paper collage, salt-resist watercolor, printmaking, and wax-resist painting. We’ll be learning what makes different environments so important and how you can reuse materials to make beautiful art that helps protect our planet. You’ll also receive an art passport to collect travel stamps for every habitat activity, proving that you are a true Eco-Artist! Please note that there is an additional $10 materials fee for this workshop.
