ClassGraphic With a total of 13 towns, the LI Region is unique in diversity, history and mystery. Today we explore two of the towns. We meet "LI’s most experienced tour guide", Carole Celiberti Lucca, and head north to Town of Oyster Bay. Yes, Patriots and Loyalists lived here during the American Revolution. We will visit Raynham Hall and hear about the spy ring and a love story of a spy and soldier. Enjoy a docent guided tour of this historic house spanning a few time periods of American history. We then ride along the north shore of LI with on board narration, hearing more about the spy ring, whaling and science.  We’ll continue our drive while passing Cold Spring Harbor, Main Street (once called Bedlam Street during whaling days) and Head into Huntington's Main Street. Free time here to explore the shops and restaurants; have lunch on your own. Back on board our coach and enjoy viewing many of Huntington’s Historic sites, including the Boulder that bears the name of the Patriot’s first military hero, Nathan Hale, the graveyard and more. We’ll stop at the Heckscher Museum of Art for a guided tour of the many wonderful exhibits there before heading back home.
