Experience the natural beauty and historical significance of the Hudson River Valley. Our first stop is a private tour of the Clermont Mansion located in Germantown, NY.  This home belonged to the prominent Livingston family and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1973. Mr. Livingston helped draft the Declaration of Independence and sworn in George Washington as first president. The home and gardens remain in their 20th century original state, reflecting the art, furnishings and gardens of the period. The sweeping views of the Hudson River Valley are breathtaking. We'll then depart for lunch at the Rhinecliff Inn, located on the magnificent Hudson River. Dine on an exquisitely prepared lunch in this historic boutique hotel, circa 1854. Choice of entree: herb-rubbed roast breast of Chicken w/mushroom-madeira cream sauce, baked Atlantic Salmon with chive beurre blanc or pennete pasta w/ seasonal vegetables, caramelized onions and creme fraiche. Dessert includes vanilla ice cream with warm caramel sauce and coffee or tea (indicate your entree choice at time of registration.)
